Diablo III players listen up. Blizzard have released the Diablo 3 Patch 1.0.3b in America. Details of the full list of changes that have been made accompany it. To give you an example though, you can trade gems, crafting materials and many other bits and bobs thanks to the new patch.

They also say that gold commodity trading will be on its way soon. You know, just in case you weren’t already considering the patch. If you haven’t played Diablo III yet, you could always give the free Beta Version we’ve mentioned previously a go. So you know whether you want to make a commitment to another game besides partypoker , Halo, Max Payne or any other you love.

If you are from the European and Asian regions, you will be prompted to download the patch when it becomes available in your area.

Some of the changes that have been made with the patch include some bug fixes that were spotted after publication. For example, if you want to purchase an item with an insufficient amount of gold, the ‘bid’ and ‘buyout’ buttons will now be greyed-out.

Other bugs that have been fixed include: the one that was preventing people who have left an over-populated chat channel from re-entering until they’ve logged out and back in again. You’ll also find that a few tooltip bugs, which were happening as players view items with 2 or more sockets in the action house, have been sorted too.

Many players have complained that Diablo III doesn’t really go much further than grinding for items, so Blizzard claim that future patches will give players a little extra to do.

April 29 marked 20 years since the Los Angeles riots. The violent incidents that caused the death of 523 people started in April, 1992, after the court acquitted four police officers who abused a young black man.

The incident that triggered the riots started in 1991. Rodney King, a young black man from Los Angeles was brutally beaten by four white Police offers and the scene was videotaped by an eye witness. One year later, on April 29, 1992, a jury that only included four black people made the decision of acquitting the four police officers.

Thousands of people protested on the street to express their worries, and their anger later became a full scale riot and anarchy. The police was incapable to cope with the events.

Things started to calm down only in the forth day, after the Army decided to intervene. But, it was already too late. According to the report, 53 people lost their lives, thousands were injured, hundreds of homes were destroyed. The total damages were estimated at around 1 billion dollars.

The 53 people who were killed died because of the accidents that happened during the Los Angeles riots. Presently, it is unknown how 22 of the 53 people lost their lives and the investigation is still open.

20 years after the events, the Los Angeles Police Department ( LAPD ) enjoys a bigger support and appreciation. ” After the riots we learned that this is not our city. We are here to service the citizens and the city is theirs” LAPD official Andrew Neiman said.

LAPD became even more representative for the multicultural city that is Los Angeles. ” In 1992 we had 1800 Hispanic police officers, now we have 4,200″ Neiman also said.

The problems that fueled the people’s anger back in 1992 have not entirely disappeared. Unemployment rate in South L.A. is even bigger – 24%.

Rodney King, the symbol of the Los Angeles Riots said that the society has to continue to fight racism: ” There will always racism. But it depends on us, on each individual, to look back and to see the progress we made” King said.

Clive Palmer, one of the richest men in Australia, signed a company with a Chinese company to build the Titanic II, a copy of the Titanic ship.

The company will begin building Titanic II at the beginning of next year and the ship will be ready in 2016, at the latest.

Palmer said that Titanic II will look a lot like the original Titanic, but it will be equipped with state of the art technology.

The voyage of the Titanic from Southampton to New York ended tragically. The Titanic hit an iceberg on April 14, 1912, and sank on April 15th. More than 1,500 people lost their lives in this tragedy.

Clive Palmer hopes that in 2016, Titanic II will be able to travel from London to New York without any problems.

Google’s income from the Android platform continues to be a pretty interesting subject for analysts and internet users, considering the success of the Android OS.

Recently, the first financial data concerning Android were published on the internet.

Back in 2009, when Android was struggling to make a stand on the mobile market, Google made around 16,8 million dollars from this project. 15,7 million from advertising and 1,1 million dollars from selling applications, according to an internal report created by Andrew Rubin, the boss of the Mobile division over at Google. The report was issued in 2010.

The report came to light during the lawsuit between Oracle and Google, which started last week.

According to the report, Google’s income from the Android OS for the first 5 months of 2010 were 132,1 million dollars: 26,8 million from Advertising, 1,6 million from applications and 103,7 million from Nexus One sales.

Google’s plans for 2012 predict 840 million dollars in revenue from Android, or better said, 50 times more than in 2009.

Google expects this money to be made from advertising and selling mobile applications.

By the end of 2013 Google expects Android to make 1,34 billion dollars: 1,27 billion from advertising and the rest from application sales.

Even if the above mentioned report is pretty old, this is the first official document that puts some light on the financial success of the Android mobile operating system.

A man from the U.S. can be considered Hollywood’s “number one public enemy” however he is not afraid of the consequences. Hyman Strachman, 92 years old, is the oldest internet pirate in the world, however he says that his goal is noble.

Hyman Strachman, also known as “Big Hy”, made hundreds of thousands of copies of famous Hollywood movies like “The Hangover” or “Grand Torino” and he gave them to U.S. soldiers, as a gift.

Many might think that Hyman is a real “danger” for U.S. movie studios, however no legal action was filed against Hyman so far. For Hyman, pirating movies is just an attempt to stay busy after his wife died in 2003.

Hyman Strachman is aware that he is breaking the law all the time however he is not afraid that he might get into trouble. He started to pirate movies and then sent them to U.S. soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, after they complained that they don’t have enough DVDs.

“It’s not fair what I do, but i do it. I think i would go to jail if i was younger” Hyman says, who is also a war veteran.

Strachman admits that he never pirate a DVD he purchased in the store. He purchases pirated movies, at $5 / piece and then he made copies. Later, he found a specialized DVD dealer and he invested 400 dollars in a DVD duplicator with the help of which he creates six copies at the same time. Hyman gets no financial compensation what his “services”.

Despite the fact that it takes around three months for his dvds to reach soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, the soldiers are very happy and they even sent thank you letters back to Hyman.

The citizens of California were woken up on Saturday morning by a low intensity earthquake that was felt in the entire Inland Empire region.

According to USGS, the 3.8 magnitude earthquake happened at 08:07. USGS also announced that the epicenter of the earthquake was located at approximately 3 km north west of Devore, San Bernandino. The earthquake’s initial magnitude was 4.1.

The earthquake was followed by a 2.0 magnitude aftershock 2 minutes later, USGS also said.

USGS’s Dr. Lucy Jones said that the earthquake was located in a region where earthquakes like this are pretty common.
