When Trials HD was released on the Xbox 360 Live Arcade, it quickly became the top most sold games. It has been downloaded nearly 2 million times and has been voted as the best arcade game in 2009 by the community of Live Arcade. Beating that record is quite hard for just about any game, but Trials Evolution fortunately does everything that its predecessor did in a much better way. After sitting through the review for a while, I can easily say that this is a better and bigger game than its predecessor.

For those of you who have not heard of the game, Trials Evolution is a stunt motorcycle game that uses state of the art physics technology and sends players on career filled with obstacle courses. The main aim of the game is to finish every track as quick as you can, but the developers have made sure that you come across some of the wildest races courses imaginable. The game will toss you around like a roller coaster. You start on very easy tracks and then the game starts getting extremely tough and even 100 tries are not enough to master it. So for hardcore gamers, this offers quite a challenge.

Trials Evolution is a difficult game, although that shouldn’t stop people from buying it. There are a lot of levels in the start that any gamer can easily get used to. It is only at the end of the game when it nearly becomes impossible to play through.

The single player mode in Trials Evolution keeps you quite busy. The levels are presented with difficulty level so you understand which one is easy for you to play. Each level offers you a chance to learn the mechanics of the game and further increase your skills. Advancing through the levels will unlock faster and better bikes for you.

New levels are unlocked in Trials Evolution only by earning gold and silver medals. If you do not earn enough in a single set of levels, you will have to go back and look for extra medals in a level. This extreme sports game is as extreme as the sports itself. It should offer both fun and challenge to those who appreciate games that test their mettle.
