Out of all April Fools’ Day pranks, video pranks are often the most convincing ones.

Whether they discovered the fact that they were fooled, or not, most people send these videos to their friends.

In this article we are going to reveal the coolest top 10 April Fools’ Day pranks ever.

1. Flying penguins

Famous for it’s quality documentaries, BBC managed to fool many people when they presented the only group of flying penguins in the word.  The prank was “discovered” and presented by Terry Jones, member of the Monty Pyton comedy group.

2. Gmail Motion

In 2011, Google presented an “improvement” of the Gmail email service. With Gmail Motion, the user was able to open an envelope in front of the camera to access the inbox. This was, of course, an April Fools’ day prank.

3. 1911′s most viral photos

YouTube celebrated 100 years of activity! The prank from YouTube presented the most viral photos since “YouTube was founded”, 5 funny photos from 1911.

4. Google Translate for Animals

Google fooled British people in 2010 with a presentation video of it’s newest service, Google Translate for Animals. This was one of the most shared April Fools’ videos on YouTube.

5. IKEA Hundstool

Because the dog is part of the family, IKEA Autralia prepared a prank that presents a special chair for dogs.

6. Legend of Zenda Trailer

Legend of Zelda fans were not to happy when they realized that this is an April Fools’ prank. IGN created an exceptional trailer for this movie, but it was all a prank.

7 Nike Air Secret

How does Nike produces the Nike Air sneakers ? With the air from the biggest athletes of the world’s breath, of course! The Nike April 2010 prank managed to raise 700,000 views on YouTube.

8. StarCraft: Motion Overdrive

Could a game like StarCraft be available on gesture recognition consoles ? In 2010 the fans of the game were fooled by a video that presented the new “Motion Overdrive”.

9. Google Autocompleter

We don’t know how many people were fooled by this video. One of Google’s April Fools’ Pranks.

 10. The Spaghetti tree

The first April Fools’ Prank created by BBC was aired in 1957 when many people were convinced that spaghetti grows in trees and they are manually harvested, one by one.
