After the world wide success of Crysis 2, with 3 million game copies sold in 2011, a sequel seemed to be inevitable however many Crysis fans will be disappointed with the announcement made by Electronic Arts and Crytek about the Crysis 3 game, as the developers are not in a hurry to release the new game.

Electronic Arts confirmed the Crysis 3 game, however the fans of the game are going to have to wait another year. Crysis 3 will be released for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in the spring of 2013.

The first images of the new Crysis 3 game were already leaked on the internet, along with a few details about the game. The Prophet character and Cell Corporation will be present in the game again, who’s story will take place in the year 2047.

Crytek and Electronic Arts also released a few details about pre-order packages: Stalker Pack, Overkill Pack and Predator Pack. All three offer the Crysis 3 game along with the special Hunter Edition content and new weapons.

Until the Crysis 3 game comes out, you can play the Crysis 2 game if you haven’t played it already. We assure you that you’re not going to be sorry!
