SkyDrive Allows You To Upload Files of Up To 300 MB
by

Just a few days before the official release of Google Drive, the Google cloud storage service, Microsoft brings a few improvements to it’s own cloud storage service in order to make it more attractive to users.

SkyDrive increased the file limit to 300 MB and it also offers support for the Open Document format ( ODF ).

One of the biggest disadvantages of the Microsoft SkyDrive service, the limit that only allowed you to upload 100 MB files, is now gone, and Microsoft also implemented a few other minor changes.

Besides allowing you to upload 300 MB files, SkyDrive now also supports ODF, which can be easily edited into the cloud. In addition to that, the photos uploaded from a Windows Phone smartphone or tablet will be accessible through a short URL.

Have you used the Microsoft SkyDrive service so far? If yes, what’s your opinion on it ? Can it compete with Dropbox or other cloud storage services out there? Please let us know!
