Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, managed to have a “flawless” first year of marriage and England is now expecting the birth of an heir.

The wedding that took place on April 29, 2011, saved the image of the monarchy, according to Robert Jobson.

Prince William and Kate Middleton will celebrate their first wedding anniversary on Sunday, in private, according to a Buckingham Palace representative.

Biographer Andrew Morton said one year ago that if Kate does not remain pregnant in the first nine months, 200 years of tradition will go down the drain. However William said right from the start that they are going to pace themselves.

Kate Middleton, 30 years old, wants to increase her family as soon as possible.

Since they got married, they visited Canada and California, and they met with U.S. President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle.

Kate Middleton and her sister, Pippa, were included in Forbes’ top 100 most influential people in the world list. Kate’s classic taste in clothes does not make her a fashion icon, however she fits into the Royal patterns. Her wardrobe, often purchased from pret-a-porter stores, was appreciated many times by fashion critics.

The U.K Royal family learned a lot from the Princess Diana tragedy and they are trying to make Kate feel right at home.
