Although it is nice and sunny in most areas of the world, it seems that the U.S. still has to deal with winter. On Sunday and Monday a powerful snowstorm affected the north-east area of the United States, causing a power blackout that affected thousands of homes.
More than 25,000 people in New York were affected by the blackout, after trees damaged electric lines because of heavy snow.
The Governor of the state, Andrew Cuomo, said that blackouts are going to happen again.
Weather services warned that New Hampshire and Massachusetts might be affected by floods, while snow is still threatening the higher regions.
