The release of the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone was officially confirmed by Samsung.

The smartphone announced at MWC 2012 will be presented by Samsung on May 3rd, in London.

The only information offered by Samsung is about the fact that the new smartphone will be part of the Galaxy family. The invitation mentions a single phone, which 100% indicates the fact that the smartphone presented by Samsung will be the Galaxy S3 smartphone.

The new Samsung smartphone will most likely run on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich along with the special Samsung TouchWiz 4.0 interface.

The speculation that appeared with the announcement of the phone were about it’s technical specifications, however nothing was confirmed so far by Samsung.

The graphic elements made some analysts believe that the Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone will have a Liquidmetal design however, most likely, they are not related directly to the new Galaxy S3 smartphone.
