Nvidia released the first unified driver for the R300 family, from 300.00 to 301.99, which offers new performances to dedicated video cards for the GeForce 6 series from 2004 to the newest GTX 680 video cards.
The most important improvements made on the Nvidia 301.24 Beta driver will be noticed by users who own GTX 400 and GTX 500 video cards.
The 160 MB update increases performance for many gales, especially for SLI and 3D vision ones. The drive also includes Nvidia FXAA Technology, Nvidia Adaptive Vertical Sync, Nvidia Frame Rate Target and Nvidia Surround Technology.
The new Nvidia Driver is compatible with OpenGL 4.2 and Nvidia SLI technology on DirectX 9, DirectX 10 and DirectX 11. For GTX 500 video cards, the improvements target a 20% bigger graphic power for games like Skyrim 2 and Just Cause 2.
