Lenovo K800 and Xolo X900 are the first smartphones equipped with Intel Processors and they will be released tomorrow in stores in China and India.
Xolo X900, created from a partnership between Intel and Indian mobile operator Lava, is a 4.03 inch smartphone that runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, powered by an Intel Atom Z2460 processor.
Intel Atom z2460 includes a single core 1.6 GHZ processor with HyperThreading support, GPU PowerVR SGX580 at 400 MHZ and a dual channel memory controller compatible with LPDDR2 chips. The RAM memory of this smartphone is 1 GB and you also get 16 GB of internal storage memory.
X900 also includes a 8 MP photo camera helped by a LED flash, capable of recording 1080p videos. The list of tech specs continues with 3G HSDPA+ support, 1.3 MP frontal camera, NFC technology and HDMI output. However the main advantage of this smarpthone is the 4.0 inch screen capable of displaying a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
Lenovo K800 uses the same 1.6 GHZ processor and Android 2.3.7 OS, but it comes with a 4,5 inch TFT screen that supports a 720p HD resolution.
Lenovo K800 includes a 8 MP photo camera capable of recording Full HD videos. The phone also includes GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi N and 3G HSDPA+.
While the Xolo X900 smartphone seems to target India users, Lenovo K800 has a lot of chances of also becoming available in Europe although it will be released in China.
