HTC gave up on the idea of improving the autonomy of their smartphones in favor of making them thinner, even if this implies the use of a smaller battery.
The decision was made after a study conducted last year that says that users prefer thinner smartphones. As a consequence, those of you who are still hoping to see a smartphone with a 3000 mAh battery and 7 days autonomy might be disappointed because autonomy is not a priority for smartphones manufacturers.
A great example to follow was given by Motorola, as the company released Motorola Droid RAZR in two distinct version: ultra-slim and RAZR Maxx.
Unfortunately, the Lithium battery technology does not manage to keep up with the innovations and trends of the smartphones market.
