Dishonored, the newest game developed by Arkane Studios ( Arx Fatalis, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic ) is an action and adventure game that will be played from a first person perspective.

However, Dishonored is not going to be just another shooter game: the people over at Arkane Studios promise a hybrid that will explore a lot of possibilities: spectacular infiltrations, setting up traps that can simultaneously take down multiple enemies, a world that will be influenced by the decisions made by the players, and much more.

In theory, Dishonored wants to be a real assassinations simulator in which the player has complete freedom in what the killing method is concerned.

To better illustrate the  vision on the Dishonored game, Arkane and Bethesda released the first trailer of the game, created entirely by using CGI sequences. So, even if the trailer does not contain any gameplay, we can get an idea about the universe of the Dishonored game.

Important names are working together to develop the Dishonored game: Raphael Colantonio ( The founder of Arkane ) and Harvey Smith ( one of the creative minds behind the first two Deux Ex games ) are the creative directors of this game, while Viktor Antonov, the man responsible for creating City 17 from Half Life 2 is working on creating the universe of this new game.
