Singe Adele received 18 nominations at the Billboard Music Awards. The awards will take place on May 20, in Las Vegas. Adele might be, again, the biggest winner of the ceremony.

Adele was nominated at “Best Artist” ( where she will face competition from Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Katy Perry and Rihanna ), Best Singer ( Lady GaGa, Nicki Minak, Katy Perry and Rihanna and Best Album.

Adele sold more than 20 million copies of her latest album, ” 21″.

Rihanna received 13 nominations including the one for “Best singer”, “Best R&B Artist” ( Beyonce, Chris Brown, Cee Lo Green and Miguel ). Lady GaGa received 11 nominations this year.

The “Best Singer” award is being disputed this year by Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Drake, Lil Wayne and Bruno Mars.

Regarding bands, LMFAO received 17 nominations, as the two members of the band managed to become popular world wide in just a few months.
