Avatar fans need to wait longer until the sequel of the Avatar movie will be released in movie theaters.

This news came from the producer of the Avatar movie, Jon Landau, who told EmpireOnline that he thinks the movie is not going to be released in 2014.

Although James Cameron said in January of last year that Avatar 2 and 3 will be filmed in parallel and they will be released in December 2014 and 2015 respectively, it seems that the pre-production stage of the movie require huge efforts.

Despite the delay, which will bring Avatar 2 in theaters only in 2015, the producer of the movie said that they are already working on the special effects of the movie.
