AMD To Release Radeon HD 7000M

AMD prepared the new generation of video cards for laptops, Radeon HD 7000M. The HD 7700M graphic cards , HD7800M and 7900M are using the new AMD 28 nm technology.

The first video cards with 28 nm technology for laptops are using the GCN architecture ( Graphics Core Next ), which increases the performance / energy consume significantly.

The AMD Radeon HD 7000M series includes the new AMD Enduro technology, along with the PCIe 3.0 interface and AMD PowerTune, AMD Power Gating and ZeroCore Power and AMD App Acceleration technology, which were only used so far on desktop video cards.

The most impressive video card is however Radeon HD 7000M, which runs at 850 Mhz and includes 2 GB of GDDR5 memory and can offer video signal to up to 6 monitors at the same time. HD 7800M works at 800 Mhz and has a 1 GB GDDR5 RAM memory while HD 7700M works at 675 Mhz and includes 1 GB of GDDR5 or GDDR3 memory.
