Shortly after Apple released the Flashback Removal Tool, Mac computers are now vulnerable to another threat, which comes under the shape of a virus named: Backdoor.OSX.SabPub.a.
The source of this new virus was identified by Kaspersky Lab and it targets a vulnerability of Microsoft Office files, which even allows a hacker to steal files from infected computers.
Initial research into the new Mac virus proved that infected computers are manually verified by a hacker who extracts information from them.
The virus is still active, and infected Mac computers are vulnerable to data theft.
Apple has not made any comments on this subject as of yet.
