Is there anything that this film will not achieve? We now know that ‘Hunger Games’ is set to become one of the huge earners in the industry with an estimated gross of $155 million.

Of course we know that ‘The Dark Knight’ is just ahead of the frightening feature film. The Knight was able to earn $158.5 million in its opening week of July 2008. At the top of the pile is ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ which managed to earn an impressive $169.2 million during its first week.

Nevertheless we have to salute a film that shows every sign of being a good investment for the people that were entrusted with the creative process. Everything has been brilliantly judged when coming up with the concept of the film and executing it. The directors have to be commended for not falling for the age old trick of presenting drivel.

A film that is bound to break new barriers

The reviews are worthy of a book. Most people have been completely overtaken by the concept of the ‘Hunger Games’. The actors and actresses are also doing a good job of making the right moves when presenting the piece. It is far more sophisticated than the staple of ‘The Twilight Saga’ and its series. This is because the horror is almost always implied with specific references to the dark nature of humanity. We are capable of living within designated districts and some of the victims of dictators can relate to the treatment that is meted out to groups of young people who are forced to fight to the death for an ostensibly valuable prize.

There are plans to have some spin-off products which are likely to extend the appeal of the product. In any case the ‘Hunger Games’ film is making enough money without even further marketing. A set of games is going to be released in some format so that fans can get deeper into the action.
