Angry Birds the popular title from Rovio that has nearly 700 million downloads till now, has got a sequel. The biggest problem with sequels is that how can you recreate something that was perfect and at the same time add stuff that feels fresh and doesn’t remind you of the same game you have played over the years. Rovio does a clever job at bringing new gravity based mechanics to its popular title, calling it now the Angry Birds Space. You will be able to enjoy the same physics based puzzles with a little twist of zero gravity. To find out more, read on the review.
With the addition of gravity mechanics, Angry Birds Space will change how people used to solve the puzzles of the previous games. Now you can sling shot your birds farther than ever and can also reach places that were impossible in the first game. This gives the game a whole new feel as you try to figure out new ways to solve the puzzles of the game. While you dig out the new mechanics, the familiar feel of the first game is always there, which is why this sequel is brilliant.
The basic gameplay of Angry Birds Space remains pretty much the same. You are in charge of sending your birds flying across the level to smash the evil green pigs. To throw your bird off the slingshot, you simply swipe your finger over the sling and release it with the proper angle. The addition of gravity mechanics mean that you can no longer simply send your birds flying in front of the sling shot to take on the pigs. The pigs this time are scattered around the stage, often floating in planetoids. This gives you a new challenge, now you have to figure out how to send your birds to hit floating pigs.
In addition to the new mechanics, Angry Birds Space also adds new stuff like space eggs, which upon collecting you can reach bonus levels. There are even boss fights now available in the game. So if you have been a huge fan of the original game, this is something you should definitely try out.
