Griffin O’Neal, the oldest son of the famous actor Ryan O’Neal and late actress Farah Fawcett, was sentenced to 16 months in jail after he caused an accident while driving under the influence.
The sentence was given on Friday by a California court. In August 2011 Griffin was involved in an accident and the driver of the car Griffin hit suffered serious injuries.
O’Neal ( 47 ) was on parole at that time because in 2007 he was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.
The toxicology tests revealed that Griffin had five different types of drugs in his blood at the time of the accident, including meth, cocaine and marijuana. Weapons and ammo was also found in the vehicle.
Griffin O’Neal has some serious drugs problems. Actually, he spent the last few months in a rehab clinic.
