Although it has beautiful beaches and many luxury villas, Miami is the most depressing city in the United States, according to Forbes.
The favorite destination of celebrities has a high crime rate, it was heavily affected by the real estate crisis and the daily commute takes a long time.
“There is sun and beautiful weather in Miami, but there are many negative factors that affects the mental state of the people who live here. The most important thing is the huge revenue difference between celebrities and regular people” Forbes editor Kurt Badenhausen said.
The criteria considered were: unemployment rate, crime rate, income level, tax, commute duration and political corruption.
Cities like Detroit and Flint occupy the 2 and 3rd position in the list, followed by West Palm Beach, Florida and Sacramento, California.
