Android 5.0 Jelly Bean is being prepared by Google to be released in June 2012, at the latest, according to some tablets components manufacturers from Taiwan.
For the moment the source of this news cannot be considered trustworthy, especially since one of the rumors is Google’s attempt to convince manufacturers to accept the release of some Windows 8 and Android 5.0 tablets.
If the rumors are true however, many users are not going to get the chance to see Android 4.0 in action, which is only available on a handful of devices right now.
According to Taiwan sources, Google was disappointment with how Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich was received, and the next version of the operating system might be released until June and will also enter the laptops market.
“Because the sales of Android 4.0 devices did not live up to the expectations” the source said, Android 5.0 Jelly Bean might get a colder welcome from tablets and notebooks manufacturers.
