HTC is getting ready to present two top Android smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona. One smartphone with a quad core processor and another one with a dual core processor.
The two smartphones have been the subject of many stores on the Internet, and they are HTC Edge / Endeavour and HTC Ville. Their commercial names have been revealed however only now: HTC One X and HTC One S.
HTC One X
HTC One X is HTC’s first quad core smartphone. The smartphone is based on the Nvidia Tegra 3 platform and the quad core processor works at a speed of 1.5 GHZ. The list of technical specifications includes:
- 4.7 inch touchscreen, 1280 x 720 pixels resolution
- 8 MP photo camera, Full HD 1080p video recording
- 1 GB of RAM memory
- 32 GB internal memory, microSD slot
- HSDPA 21 Mbps, Wi-Fi, GPS
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system
HTC One S
This smartphone will have a more affordable price than the HTC One X. To cut production costs, HTC decided to install a dual core processor instead of a quad core one. The screen has a size of 4,3 inch and a 960 x 540 pixels resolution.
Besides these two Android smartphones HTC might also announce one or multiple Windows Phone smartphones, but other low end Android devices.
