It seems that the list of Ubisoft games awaited for 2012 was real if we were to judge based on the newly released trailer for Far Cry 3 game or the confirmation of the fact that, indeed, Assassin’s Creed 3 game will be released this year.
This announcement has been made during a conference between Ubisoft and it’s investors and the CEO of the company said that the Assassin’s Creed III game will be released on October 30, 2012. Also, the CEO of the company says that this will be the most important release in the history of Ubisoft.
During the conference it was also announced that no less than 7 million copies of the most recent game of the franchise - Assassin’s Creed: Revelations – were sold until the end of last year. Revelations ended the Ezio Auditore Da Firenze trilogy, and a new central character will be introduced in the third part of the Assassin’s Creed trilogy.
Also, it was speculated many temporal periods in which the new Assassin’s Creed game might take place: Egypt, China, America or during the French revolution.
