Multiple sources confirmed the fact that the Microsoft operating system was seen running on multiple high end devices from different manufacturers but the most important aspect is the fact that Windows 8 seems to be extremely stable on the ARM Architecture.
According to some sources, a final version will be released to the public ( most likely a RC ) in February, 2012.
“In October of last year, Windows 8 on ARM kind of scared the industry because it’s instability. But now we have seen that it’s very stable” a source told CNET. For the moment, we got no information from Microsoft.
Bringing Windows 8 on the ARM architecture is extremely important. Why ? Because of the lower implementation costs compared to Intel.
If indeed Microsoft is planning this jump ,the release of Windows 8 might be the most important one ever since Windows 3.0 was released, as it will make Windows run on AMD, Intel and ARM.
And Microsoft has been talking about a multi-platform system for quite some time now.
