A group of hackers from India announced that they are going to release the complete source code of the Norton Antivirus application. Symantec officials say that publishing the source code would not affect the functionality of the program.
A group of Indian hackers named “The Lords Of Dharmaraja” announced that they are going to publish the compete source code of Symantec’s Norton Antivirus application, stolen from the Indian information services servers.
The announcement was made on Twitter by one of the members of the group. Multiple code fragments were published so far on PasteBin.com
Symantec officials said that publishing the source code will not affect the functionality of the program or it’s efficiency. “User information will not be affected at all” Symantec explained.
