Samsung announced today, during CES 2012, the release on the market of the most compact and thinnest 15 inch notebook in the work, with a thickness of only 14,9 mm. From the same family, 9 Series, we also mention the 13 inch notebook, who has a thickness of only 12,9 mm. The 15 inch 9 Series has a wight of only 1,59 kg, and the 13 inch model has a weight of only 1,16 kg.
Besides the aerodynamic and slim design of the new laptops, the Samsung Notebook 9 Series also offers performance. So, the notebooks are equipped with Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7 processors, they have 4 or 8 GB RAM memory and ensure a storage space of up to 256 GB ( SSD ). According to Samsung, the 9 Series notebook turns itself off in 9,8 seconds and the Fast Start technology ensures a booting process of only 1.4 seconds.
The battery of the new 15 inch notebook from Samsung is also very important which ensures a autonomy of up to 10 hours. And not least, the 9 Series Samsung notebook benefits from a HD+ Superbright screen, 180% better luminosity than the classic display which offers a excellent viewing even under natural light. Also, the Samsung Notebook 9 Series is equipped with illuminated keyboard that can be adjusted to any working environment.
Samsung says that in order to combine top notch performance with this extremely slim design they needed 9000 hours for sketches and models and 24,000 hours for R&D, so in total they needed 33,000 hours to complete the 9 Series project.
Samsung has not mentioned the prices of the new 9 Series notebooks yet.
