Microsoft is planning to introduce the Kinect gaming technology to PC users. Kinect, initially created for Xbox 360 will also make it’s debut for Windows on February 1.
Microsoft’s CEO, Steve Ballmer, announced that the development of the Kinect system for Windows will be accompanied by new apps that will use motion sensors.
Created after Nintendo Wii showed that users like gaming systems with motion sensors, Kinect was sold in more than 18 million units.
Voice and movements controls seems to be a priority for Microsoft, who will soon release Windows 8, the operating system that will run on both personal computers and tablets.
Microsoft will also open Windows Store, a applications store for the new Windows 8 operating system in February 2012.
