Released at CES 2012, Dragon Go seems to be the first serious rival for Siri on the Android market.
Created by Nuance Communications, Dragon Go is a vocally controlled application for semantic search. For the moment it does not offer the same integration as Siri on the iPhone, but regarding content search it might be better than the iOS app.
With more than 200 content sources, from Dictionary.com to Fandango, Dragon Go For Android can instantly find your prefer songs too, on websites like Spotify and Pandora.
The developer says that Dragon Go works on any Android device, however some devices might need extra optimizations from the user.
The application will soon get rid of a powerful competitor, Virtual Assistant, created by Vlingo, once the purchase by Nuance will be finalized. The integrated options of Virtual Assistant, similar to Siri, will offer a powerful advantage to the Dragon Go application on Android.
