Armored Core 5 is a new game developed by From Software in collaboration with Namco Badai. The game is going to be released on the market on March 23, 2023.
Armored Core 5 will be available for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, being the 14th game of the franchise.
The developers announced that the mechanic units will be smaller than the ones used in previous games of the franchise. The game will focus more on tactics and on using geographic elements, and the element of surprising during an attack will no longer be so important.
Besides the offline campaign, the Armored Core 5 game will includes new online gaming modes, mostly oriented to team based battles at a wider scale.
