TEPCO, the company in charge of the Fukushima nuclear power plant, presented a report on Friday about the causes of the March nuclear disaster, admitting that the company was not ready to deal with such a situation.
The 140 pages document, created by independent experts, show the line of events, including the way technician teams reacted under these delicate circumstances.
Even if TEPCO employees received positive critics, including the director of the Fukushima nuclear power plant, who resigned because of health problems, experts wrote that TEPCO was not ready to deal with such a crisis.
The report also notes that some reactions were not enough, especially those taken to avoid hydrogen explosions. Specialists accuse TEPCO of the fact that the company did not had a plan to deal with such accidents.
