A story from the silent movies, “The Artist” received the most Golden Globes nominations ( six ) including best comedy and best musical, as well as nominations for leading actors, Jean Djuardin and Bernice Bejo.
The second most nominated movie is the racial discrimination movie “The Help”, receiving five Golden Globes nominations, but also “The Descendants” a saga of a family starring George Clooney, both movies being nominated for “Best Movie”
In competition for the best movie award we can also see Martin Scorsese’s movie, “Hugo”, the political thriller “The Ides Of March” dircted by George Clooney, the baseball movie starring Brad Pitt, “Moneyball” as well as Steven Spielberg’s “War Horse”.
