The love story between Princess Diana and a heart surgeon, about who it is said that he was Diana’s biggest love, inspires a new Hollywood movie.
Always alone and ignored by her husband, Prince Charles, and by the British Royal family, Diana found comfort in the arms of other men, willing to offer her love and consolation.
One of them was Pakistani doctor Hasnat Kahn, who Diana met in 1995 at the Royal Brompton hospital and with whom she was involved in a secret relationship for two years.
Out of respect for Princess Diana, the doctor was discrete about their relationship and he only admitted in 2008, during an interview, that they were in love.
Their relationship ended suddenly when Hasnat Kahn left United Kingdom in 1997 and later Princess Diana met Al Fayed. Some people say that she started a relationship with him to make Kahn jealous.
