If you have tried to copy movies on your iPhone before you probably realized that it’s not as easy as you might think. iPhone is picky when it comes to copying movies or music, so today we are going to show you the easiest way to copy movies on your iPhone.
Step 1
Assuming that you already have the movie you want to copy stored on your computer, you now have to convert it to mp4 format. This is the video format accepted by iTunes and by the application we use to view movies on the iPhone. To convert a movie to mp4 format you first have to download a utility software, and the utility we are going to use is Convert Avi to MP4.
Step 2
Open the utility, select the movie you want to convert to mp3. The application automatically saves the movie in Mp4 format in the same folder with the original movie, so it’s a good idea to not change anything as you will be able to find the converted movie much easier.
This process will take a while depending on how much resources your computer has and on the size of the movie you are converting.
Step 3
After you converted te movie you can copy it directly using iTunes and you will be able to view it using the iPod application on your iPhone. First, open iTunes, select the movies category in the upper left side, drag&drop the movie in that category.
Now connect your iPhone to the computer, and in the left side you are going to see a category named devices, click on it and in the main window you will see the iPhone’s details. In the upper side you will see the list of categories, select Movies and check Sync. Right click on the phone in the devices category and click on Sync.
Step 4
After you copied the movie on your iPhone, open the iPod application and select the Video category. Now you can view the movie on your iPhone.
