The Obama Family Getting Ready For Christmas

  • Sharebar

Michelle Obama continued the tradition according to which the First lady of the United States receives the White House Christmas tree in the first day after Thanksgiving.

Michelle Obama was accompanied by her two daughters, Malia and Sasha, but also by Bo, the Obama family dog. A 6 meters tall tree arrived at the White House all the way from Wisconsin.

Michelle Obama carefully examined the Christmas tree before she gave the OK. The action was rather formal as White House personnel traveled to Wisconsin last month to pick the tree.

The tree will be placed in the Blue Room. The tree will be decorated in honor of those who served in the United States army.

The Christmas tree was brought from Schroeder’s Forevergreens near Neshkoro, Wisconsin, a farm owned by Tom and Sue Schroeder.
