Greece prime minister Georgios Papandreou asked the members of the government to prepare their resignations today. Papandreou also asked his ministers farewell.
The prime minister of Greece held talks to the boss of the current opposition party, the New Democracy, in an attempt to reach an agreement regarding a intermarry Government, which will have to implement and approve the European anti-crisis plan before the spring’s anticipated elections.
Sources inside the Greece Government said that the talks between Papandreou and Antonis Samaras reached no result so far regarding the future Greece Government. It is not known who will lead the intermarry Government and Papandreou announced that the name of the future prime minister will be revealed tonight.
