“conradev”discovered the hidden feature in the photo camera application of the iPhone after changing some values in the iOS SDK. The panoramic feature allows users to shoot consecutive photos from left to right.
For the moment it is unknown why Apple decided to block this feature but it is guessed that Apple will officially launch it sometime in the future.
Anyway, because the jailbreaking market is moving fast, Chpwn developer announced that a tweak named FireBreak was published on Cyndia today, a tweak that activates this hidden iPhone panoramic photo camera feature.
