One Wednesday a judge revoked Lindsay Lohan’s parole, accused of not respecting the conditions of the parole, the Los Angeles Superior Court announced. Lindsay Lohan was handcuffed at court but she was released from prison after paying a bail of 100,000 dollars.
A new hearing was scheduled on November 2. Judge Stephanie Sautner said that Lindsay skipped two of her women’s social group meetings where she was supposed to do community work. ” A parole is a gift, not a right” the Judge said.
Despite the fact that she missed her court appointed meetings, when she did attend she only spent one hour instead of the minimum four as per Lohan’s parole conditions. The judge ordered Lindsay to do at least 16 more hours of community service at the Los Angeles morgue before the November 2 hearing.
Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 480 hours of community service for stealing a $2,500 necklace and 120 days in prison which was commuted to house arrest as part of a deal with the DA’s office.
