iPhone 4S Was Officially Released By Apple

The iPhone 4S was officially released by Apple and presented by Tim Cook, the new Apple CEO. The new iPhone 4S model does not come with significant design changes, but it comes with considerable improvements inside.

The iPhone 4S comes with the new Apple A5 chipset, it has a dual core processor and the dual core graphic unit offers a seven times bigger performance than the previous iPhone 4 model.

The battery provides 8 hours of talking time, with 3G connection and nine hours of WiFi. Data transfer reaches a speed of u to 14,4 Mbps.

The iPhone 4S comes with a 8 MP photo camera, a sensor that allows us to create photos three times faster than on the iPhone 4.

If you are not yet ready to give up your iPhone 4, starting with October 12 you will be able to upgrade to iOS 5 which will be compatible with iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPod Touch.

A new iOS 5 application is the Siri Assistant, which allows a great iPhone control through voice commands. Phil Schiller, Apple VP, proved the way Siri works during the Apple conference: asked about what Siri is, the system replies that it is a humble personal assistant. Furthermore, Siri allows you to send vocal messages. The languages supported by the new iPhone are English, French and German.

The new iPhone 4S from $199

The new iPhone 4S will have a different price, depending on the storage capacity. The 16 GB model will cost $199, 32 GB $299 and 64 GB will be available at $399.  Apple accepts pre-orders starting with October 7.

The iPhone 4S will be available in the United States, France, Germany, Japan, England, Canada and Australia starting with October 14 and on October 28 it will arrive in other markets of the world.

Tim Cook Talked About Apple’s accomplishments

Tim Cook talked about Apple’s accomplishments lately and also presented plans for the future, saying that two more official Apple stores were opened in China and other 357 stores will be opened in 11 countries.

Tim Cook also announced a new iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch application named Cards which allows users to create cards that can be printed on quality paper.

The Newsstand application was also released, which allows users to better manage media applications.

Cook also talked about the new storage system named iCloud, which allows users to access content from all Apple devices.

Tim Cook also mentioned the fact that Apple currently owns 5% of the entire smartphoens market, more than 70% of their customers are happy with the iPhone.

Cook is also proud with the iPad performances, who started to replace paper almost everywhere including planes, hospitals and universities.
