They reunite to defend the earth against a Alien threat. The movie is set to appear in movie theaters in May of next year.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
The Hobbit is surely one of the most anticipated movies in 2012. The movie is inspired by the Tolkien novel with the same name and the main character of the movie is Hobbit Bilbo Baggins, who embarks in the journey is his life with the purpose of recovering the treasure stolen by Smaug dragon. The movie is anticipated because we are also going to see characters like Legolas, Frodo, Saruman, Gollum and Gandalf, played by the same Lord Of The Rings actors. The movie will be premiered in December 2012.
The Dark Knight Rises
The Dark Knight Rises will be the third and last part of the Batman franchise directed by Christopher Nolan. The movie is centered around the same character, Bruce Wayne / Batman, played by Christian Bale.
We do not know many details about the rest of the cats but we are going to see actors like Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Gary Oldman, Liam Neeson and Joseph Gordon Levitt.
The Dark Knight Rises will be premiered in movie theaters starting with July 2012.
Underworld: Awakening
Another long awaited movie is Underworld: Awakening. The action of the movie follows Selena’s struggled against people who, finding out about the existence of vampires and Lycans, start a war to destroy them. The movie, the third of the franchise, will appear in January 2012.

Surprisingly, 2012 also comes with a Men In Black sequel. After 10 years, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones reunite for the third time. We do not know detail about the plot of the movie. Even so, the movie will be premiered in May 2012.

The story takes place on Scotland, where Merida MacDonald, the daughter of King Fergus, has to fix her mistakes embarking on a journey that comes with many dangers.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
The movie is centered around Johnny Blaze who is now hiding in Eastern Europe and he must stop the devil from taking a human form.

But, besides many new movies, 2012 also brings some sequels. So we are going to see a 3D version of the first Star Wars episode, as well as a release of Titanic in 3D version.
