They saved the world, or they saved beautiful women in the 80′s action movies and some of them continue to do so even if they are now 60 years old.

These bad boys were the stars of the 80′s action movies and they are older now. Can we expect something from them now ? Let’s take a look.

He was, at times, writer and producer. His last notable experience was in The Expendables  movie.

Then he did the Texas Ranger tv show where he played Walker, a show that did very good on the big screen from 1993 to 2001. The man also known as “The Muscles From Brussels” reached his peak as an actor in the 80′s and the beginning of the 90′s. Bloodsport, Kickboxer, Double Impact and Time Cop were hit movies. After some really bad movies in the 2000′s, Van Damme turned down a role in The Expendables, a movie that was a box office hit and for this reason Van Damme announced that he is to play a negative role in The Expendables 2.

Star Wars and Indiana Jones were two of the most profitable movie franchises of the 80′s. And this was also because of Harrison Ford. He is considered to be a real box office giant.Even so, not everything he touches turns to gold. The recent Cowboys & Aliens was a disappointment. Ford however continues to be in demand and he receives good roles. Black Hats is one of them, where he is to play the role of Wyatt Earp.

He only sure thing until now is The Last Stand, a modern western.

Expert in Aikido, Seagal became famous in Above The Law and Hard To Kill then he was one of the box office stars for a few years. In 2000 he became the King of straight to dvd movies. In 2009 he was the star of the Steven Seagal: Lawman show where the actor acted like a deputy in the state of Louisiana, and the show broke all audience records. He returned as a action movie star in 2010 when he appeared as a negative character in Machete.

Mel recently did The Beaver, but the movie has not been received as well as Mel wanted.
