Actress and singer Selena Gomez will host the 18th edition of the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards which will take place at Odyssey Arena in Belfast on November 6.
For the first time in history MTV will broadcast the show on new communication platforms. So, for the first time in history, Selena Gomez is to present the event live on the Internet.
In 2011 Selena Gomez launched her third album, ” When The Sun Comes Down” after she caused a lot of sensation in 2010 with “A Year Without Rain”.
Selena Gomez was born in Dallas and she started to appear in movies ever since she was 7 years old and she received her first major role in 2003 when she appeared in “Spy Kids 3-D:Game Over”. She became famous playing witch Alex Russo in Disney’s “Wizards of a Wavery Place” and in 2009 Selena won a Emmy award. Also, Selena Gomez launched her own clothing line named “Dream Out Lout” and she became a UNICEF ambassador.
