A team of researchers studied the Bermuda Triangle waters for 10 years.
Scientists recently discovered new anomalies in the Bermuda Triangle: the surface of the water was covered by a variety of viruses. They are not dangerous to human health as they are only interested in oceanic bacteria.
A team of researchers lead by Craig Carlson from the Bermuda Oceanology Institute studied the area for 10 years. 90% of the viruses they discovered on the water surface are unknown.
Hundreds of people, planes and ships disappeared in time in the Bermuda Triangle. This mysterious area is surrounded by rumors and suspicions because of it’s alleged supernatural activity. Also known as the Devil’s Triangle, the area is located in the north of the Atlantic Ocean and it is defined by the following points: Bermuda, Florida and Puerto Rico.
The Bermuda Triangle got a bad reputation starting with December 1945, when Flight 19, a squadron formed by 5 US Army bombers disappeared during a routine exercise. Before losing radio contact, the flight leader was heart saying: ” everything looks weird, even the ocean”. The other 14 members of the crew and ships were never found again. A team sent to investigate the suspicious disappearance also vanished, this consolidating the Bermuda Triangle mystery.
According to the United States Army, the Bermuda Triangle is responsible with the disappearance of 50 ships and 20 planes in the last century.
