Three love letters written by legendary US actor James Dean will be auctioned by Christie’s on November 23rd in London.

The letters, written in 1954, were sent to Barbara Glenn, the love interest of James Dean for almost two years.

In the last letter, James told his lover that he has not written lately because he fell in love with someone else, but she should not worry because he is referring to his horse, Cisco The Kid.

The letters are appraised at 16,000 pounds and they belong to Barbara Glenn’s family. During the same auction people can also purchase photos of the Dean-Glenn couple.

James Dean is one of Hollywood’s symbols. His roles, especially the role in “Rebel Without A Cause” had a major influence on millions of young people. Dean died when he was only 24 years old because of a car crash.
