Fallout Online is the MMOG game developed by Masthead Studios and Interplay Entertainment. The game will enter open beta in 2012. Initially named Project: V13 the game was the subject of a lawsuit between Interplay and Bethesda Softworks. The battled in the courtroom for rights over the Fallout name.
Since the legal problems have been solved, Internet release an official website, which allows users to sign up for the beta version. Fallout 3 was the first game of the franchise published by Bethesda, and the previous games were developed and distributed by Interplay.
Fallout Online will have player run cities and social centers where players will be able to interact with each other. Like all Fallout games, the action will take place in a Apocalyptic scenario. Players will be able to decide if they want to take part in rebuilding cities or conquering them.
