Because, in her public appearances, Kate Middleton seems to be inspired a lot by Lady Diana. The evidence is there, so let’s take a look at them.

On July 6, Kate appeared in Albert, Canada, in a pants suit that seems to be the modern version of the outfit Princess Diana wore in 1986, also in Canada.
Not to talk about the model of the evening dress Kate wore at the BAFTA awards on 9 July, very similar to Diana’s dress at the 1987 Cannes Film Festival. All in all, we have to admire Kate’s decision of adopting Diana’s style. After all, even Prince William told her on their wedding day: ” You look just like my mother!”.
